Dunn Area Committee of 100

Dunn Area Committee of 100, Inc. provides USDA-Rural Development loans for businesses across North Carolina. The program lends funds to eligible recipients that meet the following criteria: are a community development project; establish a new business; create or save jobs; assist businesses that will employ farm families or displaced farm workers; have been turned down by two banks or lending institutions; and are located in the service area.

Downtown Dunn Development Corporation

The Downtown Dunn Development Corporation has overseen an astonishing transformation of the historic city center, including burying power lines and telecommunication cables, renovating the aged water and sewer system, replacing pavement, and incorporating attractive brick and cement features.

The City of Dunn

The City of Dunn is governed by an elected council consisting of a mayor and six council members.

The Dunn City Council serves as the policy-making governing body of the City. The Dunn City Council has seven members, all of whom are elected to four-year terms. Voters throughout the city choose the mayor. Each of the other six council members is a representative and is chosen only by voters within the district. District representatives live in the districts they represent. Dunn is divided into six wards.

The Dunn City Council meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at 401 E. Broad Street.
